Come out to a meeting!
- Members have access to a great selection of materials on home learning from our library. There is a short general business meeting followed by discussion.
- Discussions specific to the interest of home-based learning families. Topics such as home education regulations, perspectives on home-based learning, mentoring, on-line education, and different learning approaches.
- There's a newcomer's corner that offers an opportunity to discuss questions and concerns with experienced home-based learners in a small group setting.
Monthly Support Meetings
Date: Second Thursday of the month, except July, August, and December.
Time: Library and Social start at 7:00 Meeting starts 7:30
Location: Strathcona Community League, 10139-87 Ave, Upstairs. There is parking at the side of the building. Please bring a mug or a glass for coffee/tea/or juice.
Description: Please come and join us for coffee, tea, and conversation. The Library and Newcomers Discussion start at 7:00 with the meeting starting at 7:30. Our meeting space is limited so we ask, if possible, that children not attend (Infants Welcome). If this is not possible we ask that you bring a quiet activity for them to do.
